Let’s gooo! It’s Friday you know what that means: zai in your inbox. The weekend is almost here and I’m all for it. I need a break. This weekend I will not be on 𝕏, there will be no Discord activity, I will spend it with my partner at the lake. Might even try to leave my phone at home 🌱

For anyone that has followed me and my journey, they know that the past month I’ve worked incredibly hard. But it paid off, I received this email:

I can write a motivational story on how this will make me stronger in the end, how I will learn from this experience but the truth is… it hurts.

Anyway, here’s your favourite read before the weekend, The Growth Guide.

🌱 More impressions = more money

In the last month I have:

• Hit 20M+ organic impressions

• Gained 5.500 followers

• Earned $8,500+ on 𝕏

At the basis of all of that: viral content. But how do you actually write viral content?

1. Focus on recent events: The easiest and most important strategy to create viral content. I wrote about 𝕏 and the rebrand 22 MINUTES after it was announced.

2. Strong hook: The reality is that this has to be clickbait-y or people will scroll past. Try to make it as extreme as possible while still being real. You need to actually deliver on what you promise in the hook.

3. Provide value: Your audience is not stupid, they know when something is low-effort. Make sure you provide something unique and valuable to them so they’ll come back.

4. Plug it under tweets: This is a risky strategy but it worked well for me. I spent 15 minutes after writing my viral threads just quoting it under other people’s content. Just be careful as this might get annoying.

5. Threads are powerful: If your goal is going mega-viral, threads are still the best way to do that. What’s the viral content you see on your timeline? That’s right, threads.

6. Controversy sells: You need to show that you’re a real person with a real opinion. Nobody likes to talk to bots. Don’t be afraid to say what’s on your mind, the worst thing you can do is be average.

7. Experiment and double down: Don’t be afraid to try and see what works. Once you find something, go hard and double down on the subject. Write from different angles for example.

Remember that going viral can attract a new audience but niche content is the type of content that create strong ties to your audience. For anyone starting out I would recommend 80% broad content and 20% niche content. Make sure you build your audience and retain the new followers you get.
