A life-changing opportunity
read time 4 minutes
Let’s gooo! It’s Friday! The weekend is almost here and I’m all for it. This weekend I will be out touching grass and spending time with loved ones. No screen time at all. I just wish I could schedule my Threads content 🤣
This week I hit 30k on Twitter. THANK YOU. A massive milestone which makes it feel worth grinding out content for the last couple of months. Currently looking into different routes for monetisation without selling out (which isn’t easy) but I have amazing ideas coming up. I think you will love it too.

Let’s grow together.
Anyway, before the weekend hits, here’s this week’s Growth Guide.
🌱 Threads: The New Kid On The Block
The hot topic the last couple of days has definitely been Threads, the Twitter competitor. Engagement on Twitter has dropped significantly after all the changes and the rate limiting. I am still incredibly bullish on Twitter but you know what I’m even more bullish on? Platform diversification and recognising opportunities.
Platform Diversification
Before we dive into the world of Threads, let's take a moment to address a crucial strategy: platform diversification. With the rapid evolution of social media, putting all your eggs in one basket isn't just risky—it's plain ignorant. As creators we need to embrace multiple platforms to expand our reach, connect with different audience segments, and secure our online presence. Platform diversification not only broadens your audience base but also protects you against potential algorithm changes or platform-specific issues (such as the Twitter rate limits or Account Suspensions).
The Return of Reply Guy
Okay so let’s talk about how to grow on Threads. Threads thrives on engagement. The best way to put your brand on the radar is by being active and replying a lot. Engage with the content you find interesting, join in the conversations, and make sure your comments add value (or are funny).
Make Meaningful Connections
Threads is all about fostering connections. Reach out to people, follow users who align with your interests, and build a network that resonates with your brand's values and objectives.
Frequency over Finesse
Unlike Instagram, where carefully curated posts are the norm, Threads encourages frequent and fun posting. So, let loose and share your thoughts, observations, and try new things. See what works.
Embrace the Art of Shitposting
Now, here's a secret sauce for quick growth on Threads: don't take your content too seriously. Shitposting and meme sharing are currently ruling the platform. This approach adds a layer of humor and spontaneity to your content, making you relatable and approachable. I’m doing the same. You don’t know me as a shitposter or memer but I am fully embracing this content for now - this is the strength of a good content creator. But remember, it's all about timing; use this strategy until it you notice a meta-shift. I will keep you updated.
📚 Thread Curation: Best of Web3
It’s been a busy week on Twitter with a lot of news going around. It’s been a turbulent week especially with the news around Elena and her Ordinals collection. Here’s my personal curated list of the 5 best threads. Read those and grow your knowledge. Some absolute bangers this week.

🔹 This week’s highlight: Threads
My good friend Carl wrote a banger this week. Follow him if you haven’t.
With all eyes on Threads this week (even this entire newsletter is dedicated to it), riding the newscycle is always a great idea. Carl lays out 4 things about the Threads app in an actual thread on threads here. Love the short-thread format!
4 things you didn’t know about the new 🧵 App!

2) Create a new 🍎 account
3) Set the App store up in a supported country
4) Get the 🧵 app and set it up
5) Sign out of the new 🍎 account
6) Sign back into your regular 🍎 accountHope that helps! 💛
