🌱 Tick Tock Tweet
Let's cut to the chase: you've curated your content, polished your profile, and have a great sense of who your audience is. But have you ever paused to think about when you should be tweeting to reach the maximum number of your followers? Timing is everything. And in the digital world, understanding the concept of "peak hours" can make a significant difference in your social media strategy.
Tweeting at the Right Time
The first thing you have to figure out is what the right time is. How do you find out the best time to tweet? There are several analytics tools at your disposal for this very purpose - Black Magic, Tweethunter, and Typefully are all very accurate in this.
These tools can give you insights into your follower demographics, their active hours, and the times when your content has gotten the most engagement. Use these tools to figure out when your tweets can make the most significant impact.
Tweeting in Your Timezone
One of the largest mistakes I made when starting out was tweeting my GM-post at 10am EST, which is 15:00 locally. I did this because it’s USA morning time which has a lot of activity. This worked well but it messed up the rest of my schedule. This meant I was tweeting at night when I wanted to have time off. I quickly learned that it’s not sustainable. There’s always plenty enough people in your own timezone, it’s easier to focus on building a connection to them - will serve you well over the long term.
Pre and Post Tweet Interaction
Okay, you've created a killer tweet, and you've found the best time to post it. Before you hit that "send" button, spend some time interacting with other posts.
Here's the golden rule: spend at least 15 minutes before and after you tweet to engage with other users. Comment on posts, like tweets. It not only warms up the Twitter algorithm, but it also subtly draws attention to your profile and piques curiosity about what you have to offer.
There's something special about seeing a well-crafted tweet soaring high and capturing everyone's attention, right off the bat. It's not just about the 'what' and 'how' but also the 'when'. Remember, Twitter is a living, breathing organism that responds to the way people use it.
With this, it's time to master your tweeting schedule and get ready to skyrocket your engagement. Trust me, it'll be like magic…
